About This Community Fund
Despite being the traditional stewards of Mumbai's coastlines, less than 4% of daughters from artisanal fishing households enter higher graduate programs in marine sciences or coastal policy.
The Bhoomiputra Marine Scholarship Fund bridges this gap by covering complete university tuition fees, laboratory instruments, laptop hardware, and monthly hostel living allowances for 12 selected scholars across Konkan universities.
